Jesus Enrique Velez Gutierrez is a seasoned systems engineer with over 10 years of experience in software development, automation, and innovation. He has a strong background in developing software solutions for integrations, analysis, and process improvement, and has recently provided services to the Colombian government in this regard. Currently, Jesus is working as a research intern at the University of Valencia, where he is developing software in .Net C# and SQL for Fresenius Medical Care in collaboration with the university. He has previously worked as a system engineer at the Secretaría de Cultura, Recreación y Deporte, where he was responsible for supporting the Subdirección de Artes, Cultura y Patrimonio of Bogotá, Colombia, in improving their storage, analysis, and processing information requirements and implementing the information system. Jesus has also worked as a system engineer in the information management group of the Dirección De Fomento Regional at the Ministerio de Cultura, Colombia, where he provided support and analysis of the information platforms and was a leader on the developing project Sistema de Información de Fomento Regional- SIFO. Jesus holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería 'Julio Garavito'. He is proficient in SQL and has experience as a research scientist and software engineer.
